Aravali biodiversity park, Gurugram, Haryana is constructed on 699 acres of land located in  sector 24, Gurugram, Haryana 122002. Is a biodiversity park was once a denuded mining site. After mining for almost 40 years the land became barren. This park was officially opened on world Environment Day, on 5 June 2010. iAmGurgaon is the cofounder of The Aravali biodiversity park iAmGurgaon is a Local NGO in Gurugram which teamed up with Municipal Corporation of Gurugram (MCG)and development this park for general people and to protect the biodiversity in Gurugram and Delhi 

Over the period of time the park reclaimed and restored its ecological strengths which means multiple habitats like rocks, plants, tress, outcrops, animals, insects, water bodies, grasslands, woodlands and many more regenerated.

Atal Kapoor a landscape architect ( member of NGO iAmGurgaon initiated the architecture of Aravali biodiversity park with MCG (Municipal Corporation of Gurugram) nad later spearheaded by Vijay Dhasmana, an ecological restoration practitioner.
